Original 1871 Spanish 5 Pesetas silver coin issued during the short reign of King Amadeo I of Spain. The obverse features the portrait of Amadeo I with the inscription “AMADEO I REY DE ESPAÑA,” while the reverse displays the crowned Spanish coat of arms between the Pillars of Hercules.

The coin shows attractive natural-looking gray toning and strong remaining detail, particularly in the reverse shield, crown, lettering and border. The star date 18-71 is visible. Circulated condition with normal age-related wear and surface marks; please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
