Large original multiple of 18 Spanish Colonial Cuba postage stamps from the 1881 issue, featuring King Alfonso XII.

The stamps are denominated UN C. DE PESO (1 Centavo de Peso) and bear the inscription ISLA DE CUBA, dating from the period when Cuba remained under Spanish colonial administration.

This impressive surviving multiple consists of 18 attached stamps arranged in three rows of six, retaining exceptionally large original sheet margins along the left and lower sides.

Large intact multiples of 19th-century Cuban colonial stamps offer a particularly appealing format for collectors of classic Cuba, Spanish colonial philately and postal history.

The reverse retains substantial gum, showing considerable age-related toning and irregularity consistent with long-term storage.

Condition
