1933 Cuba Revolutionary Government Overprint Stamp Set – José Martí & Luz y Caballero

Both stamps bear the distinctive “GOBIERNO REVOLUCIONARIO 4-9-1933” overprint commemorating the revolutionary events of September 4, 1933.

• 2 Centavos on 3 Centavos – José de la Luz y Caballero, violet/brown, surcharged to the new 2-centavo denomination and bearing the Revolutionary Government overprint.
