Original 2002 Cuban postage stamp miniature sheet commemorating the 35th anniversary of the death of Ernesto “Che” Guevara.
Issued by Cuba on October 8, 2002, the striking souvenir sheet combines six perforated stamps featuring photographic portraits of Che Guevara with a large portrait dominating the right side of the sheet.
The design is inscribed “35 Aniv. de la Muerte de Ernesto Che Guevara” and incorporates the famous phrase “Hasta la Victoria Siempre.”
The complete issue is cataloged as Scott 4242–4247, with the miniature sheet listed as Scott 4247a. The corresponding Michel numbers are 4453–4458.
An attractive complete Cuban philatelic issue combining Che Guevara, Cuban revolutionary history and modern Cuban postal history.
Condition:
Complete unused miniature sheet with all six stamps intact and perforations present. Clean overall appearance with no obvious major faults visible in the photographs. Original gum is present on the reverse. Please review both photographs carefully for exact condition.
