Attractive Maria Theresa silver thaler dated 1780, featuring the classic portrait of Empress Maria Theresa and the crowned Imperial double-headed eagle reverse. Large silver coin with the traditional lettered and ornamented edge, attractive aged toning, and strong remaining detail. Housed in a protective holder and marked UNC. A beautiful example of one of the world’s most famous and historically important silver trade coins.
