Vintage Imrie/Risley 18th Century Military Button Recasts – Revolutionary War Display

Vintage Imrie/Risley Miniatures display featuring three pewter recast military buttons based on original examples excavated at Revolutionary War campsites and battlefields.

The original informational card identifies the three designs as:

• 10th Regiment, Massachusetts Line, 1777–83
• Royal Regiment of Artillery, ca. 1780–1800
• U.S.A. Continental Button, 1775–83

Produced by Imrie/Risley Miniatures of Richmond Hill, New York, these buttons were created as historical reproductions of period military buttons. They are reproductions and are not original 18th-century artifacts.

The surviving original display card adds considerable character and context to the set and includes historical information about each button design.

Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition. The three buttons remain attached to the original informational display card. The card shows significant age-related toning, staining, edge and corner wear, small tears/losses, and handwritten notation along one edge. Buttons show surface patina and age-related wear.
