Original vintage souvenir photograph from the legendary Sloppy Joe’s Bar in Havana, Cuba.

This fascinating piece of pre-Revolution Cuban travel memorabilia features an original group photograph taken inside Sloppy Joe’s Bar, with patrons gathered for drinks in front of the bar's bottle-lined shelves.

The photograph remains mounted in its original decorative souvenir presentation marked:

“SLOPPY JOE’S BAR – HAVANA CUBA – PRICE 50¢ EACH.”

Sloppy Joe’s was one of Havana’s best-known bars and a celebrated destination for international travelers during Cuba’s pre-Revolution tourism era.

The reverse makes this example particularly interesting. It features a printed Havana architectural scene identified “Cooperativa Fotográfica de La Habana S.A. – Industria 66 – Telef. M-2772,” together with extensive period handwritten names, addresses and travel notations.

These surviving inscriptions give the piece additional character as an authentic piece of early Cuban travel ephemera.
