1934 Havana Cuba Capitol Building – Roberts & Co. Vintage Postcard

Vintage Cuban postcard featuring the Capitol Building (El Capitolio) in Havana, published by Roberts & Co., Havana, Cuba.

The colorful street view shows the monumental Capitol building surrounded by palm trees, pedestrians and period automobiles. The reverse describes the building as an important work of engineering, sculpture and painting and notes its original construction cost of more than sixteen million dollars.

The card is identified as No. 12833 N and bears a handwritten date, “Octubre 12 de 1934,” providing an excellent period reference for this example.
