The 1,000 Pesos was the highest denomination issued by the Banco Nacional de Cuba in the 1950 series and is a difficult-to-find Cuban banknote in today's collector market.

Condition

Circulated condition. The note exhibits multiple folds and creases, handling and edge wear, age-related toning, and conspicuous reddish-brown staining/marks, particularly around the portrait and extending into the upper central portion of the obverse. Additional staining and signs of circulation are visible on both sides.

Despite these condition issues, the note remains substantially complete with strong printed detail, clearly visible serial numbers, signatures and design elements.
