Vintage Spanish embroidered postcard depicting a woman in the traditional regional costume of León, Spain.

The figure is extensively decorated with real colored thread embroidery, creating a raised textile effect throughout the traditional dress. Black, green, pink, yellow and white threads form the richly ornamented skirt, apron, shawl and sleeves, with additional embroidered floral details. The historic lion emblem of León appears at the upper right.
