Vintage Spanish embroidered postcard depicting a woman in the traditional regional costume of Ávila, Spain.

The woman's elaborate costume is embellished with real colored thread embroidery, creating a striking three-dimensional textile effect. Bright blue, yellow, pink, green, black and white threads reproduce the richly decorated skirt, shawl, sleeves and traditional headwear. The coat of arms of Ávila is printed at the upper right.
